Teen Traffic Safety Education
classes are going on now!
Here is the information you need
to get started on your path
towards obtaining your driver's
license.
Click on the location
application below for classes
offered in your area. Then,
simply print the application,
fill in each blank completely,
and mail to us. We will then
send you information on
obtaining your Instruction
Permit.

1. MUST be 15 years old.
2. MUST apply in person to
make application. Student
Social Security Number may be
required at the Department of
Licensing.
3. MUST bring students
original birth certificate
listing parent name. (NOT a
Hospital record with big gold
seal), Military ID.
4. MUST bring
parent/legal guardian with photo
ID.
The parent-guardian must provide
proof of their identification
and proof of their relationship
to the minor. (An example of
proof of relationship is a birth
certificate with student name
and parent name.)
** Parent/legal guardian must
sign second section of
application.
** When last names are
different, additional documents
will be required (a
marriage certificate, divorce
decree, adoption papers,
Military ID.)
5. MUST bring picture ID
(i.e. - current school ASB card,
passport, etc.)
If you absolutely do not have a
picture ID then you still need
to bring everything else listed
above to be issued a permit
without a picture.
THE FOLLOWING IS ALSO NEEDED
TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT
1. Glasses/Contacts (for
distance vision only).
2. Weight, Height, Color of
Eyes.
3. Mother’s Maiden Name.
4. Write your full name in
cursive (First-Middle-Last).
5. $20.00 Permit Fee with or
without picture.
Please pick up a Washington
Driver Guide. These will be used
for studying throughout the
class.
