Congratulations! You have passed
the course and have your
certificate! Now
you're ready to
go down to the Department of
Licensing and apply for your
hard earned drivers license.
Here's what you need to
do....
1. Present your traffic safety
certificate
Make sure you have made photo
copies to keep until the age of
25
to receive discounts on your
insurance, when available.
2. Present a document showing
parental connection to you.
If your last names are
different, additional
documentation will be required.
3. Present your instruction
permit.
Be sure you have had it for at
least 6 months & have done
your 50 hours of driving at
home.
4. Your parent must be present
with picture identification.
5. Present social security
number.
6. Present money for testing
application fee.
7. You must apply in person
(Do not call to make a drive
test appointment over the
phone).
You may apply for your driver’s
license 90 days prior to your
16th birthday, but only if you
have the above items with you.
***PLEASE DO NOT LOSE YOUR
CERTIFICATE!
REPLACEMENTS WILL COST YOU $20.
