nds training uses advanced
“visual habits and driving
techniques” that enable you to
control other roadway users,
traffic situations and the space
around your car. By teaching
every driver total
responsibility for his/her
actions while driving, the
ability to be collision free is
an easy choice for everyone.
What the nds driver
improvement program involve?
nds Driver Improvement Program
consists of 2 hours of
intensive, advance training that
includes Behind-the Wheel
experiences and in-car
observation.
½ hour of classroom instruction
discusses current laws and terms
that will be used during the
training.
1-1/4 hours will be spent in the
vehicle with a professional
instructor providing valuable
“hands-on” and observation
training. nds techniques will be
demonstrated and then practiced
by all participants.
1/4 hour debriefing and
discussion of techniques and
traffic situations.
Each program will be limited to
2 participants so that we can
benefit from small group
interaction and participation.
